Individual sessions in English, at my Geneva practice or online.
Do you find it difficult to switch off, feel overwhelmed by your emotions or struggle to feel confident? Perhaps your mind stays busy at night, or you simply need time to pause and reconnect with yourself.
I offer personalised sophrology sessions to help you work towards greater calm, self-awareness and balance in everyday life.
Sophrology is a practice that brings together breathing, body awareness, muscle relaxation and guided visualisation.
Through guided exercises, you explore your physical sensations and develop a greater awareness of your needs and inner resources. The aim is to find practical ways to support your well-being that you can gradually bring into your daily life.
You may feel constantly on alert, find yourself overthinking or struggle to slow down. Sessions offer space to notice your reactions, explore ways to release tension and develop resources for managing everyday pressure.
When your mind stays active at bedtime or you find it difficult to unwind, we can work on relaxation, awareness of tension and practices that support the transition towards rest.
You may feel easily overwhelmed or find it difficult to understand your reactions. We can explore how emotions show up in your body, what they tell you about your needs and how to respond with greater awareness.
You may want to feel more confident in everyday life or prepare for an exam, interview, presentation or another important event. Sessions can focus on recognising your strengths, managing anticipatory stress and approaching the situation with greater confidence.
Your body, emotions, thoughts, habits and personal or professional environment can influence one another.
My approach aims to help you understand yourself better, recognise what may be holding you back and make connections between different aspects of your experience.
Depending on your needs, we may work on several connected areas: self-awareness, self-esteem, confidence, boundaries, stress or emotional balance. The pace and exercises are adapted to you.
Greater awareness can help lasting changes emerge. Practical exercises can support these changes and help you bring what you explore during sessions into everyday life.
We take time to understand what brings you here, what you are experiencing and what you would like support with.
The work is personalised and may include guided breathing, body relaxation, awareness of physical sensations and visualisation. There is space to discuss your experience and adjust the practice to your needs.
Exercises may also be suggested for you to use between sessions.
First appointment: 90 minutes.
Follow-up appointments: 60 minutes for adults and 45 minutes for children.
The number and frequency of sessions depend on your needs and goals.
